Rainfall Modelling in Guadeloupe

The KaruSphère laboratory led the study that resulted in the publication of the article entitled ” Spatio-temporal analysis of rainfall variability in the Guadeloupe archipelago using a Black-Scholes model with jumps and regimes “. This study investigates the spatio-temporal variability of rainfall in Guadeloupe and develops a new model capable of better reproducing extreme rainfall events. The results provide a better understanding of rainfall differences across the archipelago and open up new perspectives for water management, agricultural planning, and flood-risk prevention.
