Understanding Air Pollution in Guadeloupe During COVID-19

The KaruSphère laboratory led the study that resulted in the publication of the article entitled ” Multifractal analysis of air pollutant dynamics in the Caribbean during the COVID-19 lockdown “. This study analyzes the impact of the COVID-19 lockdown on the dynamics of atmospheric pollutants in Guadeloupe using multifractal approaches. The results reveal a strong sensitivity of nitrogen oxides to variations in human activities, while ozone and PM10 remain primarily influenced by natural sources such as desert dust. This work highlights KaruSphère’s expertise in the multifractal analysis of atmospheric pollution in tropical environments.
